Chappell Roan vs Sabrina Carpenter

There is no doubt that Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter both had the best summer of their life. They both went from fairly low fame to household standards in less than two seasons. Chart-topping hits, sold out festivals and tours. Yes, 2024 was good for the new Pop-Princesses.

As the Grammy nominations were announced today it was no surprise to me, obviously as I continue to gush over them, that they would both be nominated. However, I was surprised to see both names on all of the Top 4 big categories. Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist. It could go either way and of course there are other artists on the lists as well. MTV gave best new artist to Chappell Roan and I‘m banking on that to be true on music’s biggest night.

I‘m not a betting man. Also I don‘t know of many bookies putting up odds on the outcome of artist success. But at this point I’d go all in on some sort of combination between the two of them.
